hey! Spring of Trivia

Saw in TV this morning, a famous Japanese TV programme called Toribia no Izumi (ƒgƒŠƒrƒA‚̐ò) that is broadcasted at 9.00pm every Wednesday in Fuji TV (ƒtƒWƒeƒŒƒr),  started to broadcast as well in USA since last month.

They translated the name into hey! Spring of Trivia. At 10 pm every Thursday on Spike TV. Hmm... I'm not sure whether this Spike TV can be received in all USA or not.

Anyway, just want to tell u, fish fish very excited to know bout this news.  Why? Cause I love~ this programme very very much. It is a great programme. Wat is so special bout this show? Hmm... those of u in USA, who able to watch Spike TV, and not yet know bout this show... Try to watch in once or twice at least...

Then, I guess you will know why fish fish loves it.

Raya Celebration

Hmm... Angel told me bout the Raya Celebration by MSAJ. Decided to join as been quite a while didn't meet some of the Kansai frens. Then only the nite be4 the day, I remembered forgot to ask Angel bout the attire. Argh!

"Wei Angel, tomolo need to wear formal or not?" Hee... with Angel, I definitely speak like a Malaysian.

"Need. I'm wearing Kebaya." Argh! The answer I didn't wish to hear. Maittana~ Hmm... now I need to find something to wear, as my baju kurung too loose.@And neither do I want to look grey or black.

Looked thru my wardrobe. Ha! Suddenly remembered one of the dress I bought in summer. Ok, am goin to look formal with that piece. But it's autumn now, the dress too short for formal, too thin for autumn.

So, fish fish got a slack and a cadigan, which oso I just got them this summer, to make into a formal autumn look. :P

Heee... so, wat do u all think of the combination? Maroon dress by UCB, white slack by Uniqlo, and cadigan made in China.

We met up with Ah Fu, went to lunch then off to the place. Angel is staying there. It is an international dorm in Hyogo.

The above pic : Angel (left) and Sylvia (right). Sweet~~ I love Angel's kebaya. She looks really good in pink (actually it was purplish pink). 2 pinky pinky~~

Hee... once u go into her room. U will feel like u r in the Momo Wonderland. With cute pinky pigs all around. Aiyah~ these pinky pigs just caught my eyes. Especially the S&M version. Naked nurse pig... and the black sexy wear pig at the 2nd and 3rd layers of the rack. And u know wat? These 2 are for ridiculously cheap. 105yen each (RM3.50). IFish Fish want one too!!

These r the 3 sweets Kansai Malaysian gals: Jiayi (left), Ai Mei (middle) and Sylvia (left). Ai Mei was one of the speech competitors. Woohoo! She won the 1st prize, a 2-way ticket Japan-Malaysia by MAS. Wow!! Good job dear!

After a great time on the Raya celebration, nice Ah Fu again companied Sylvia n me back to the station to take train. *Touch touch* I didn't hv much chances to take pics with Ah Fu tat nite. So on the train, Ah Fu (left) and Sylvia (right) with a tired look and smile on their face.

There will be a food post bout this Raya Celebration in a few more weeks time in my Kuishinbo~Meow~ then. More details will be up there. Wait har~

What a lovely Wednesday

Yesterday, I had a great public holiday. It was a Harworking Thanksgiving Day.  Ok, I believe there is no such holiday outside Japan. (We have Labour Day, but not Japan) Yap, Japan has a lot of their own unique holidays. And Christmas is a normal working day in Japan too.

There are just too much good things to happen this few days that make my mood flying high and good today.

Sunday, a good weather day. Had good ramen, did good shopping and karaoke with Sylvia.

I did my ELISA experiment well on Monday. And yes, that will enable me to continue to my next research. Been kind of low mood lately with the result. So glad, finally a possible method is found. Not yet discuss with my prof, but I believe this time, yes, I will be able to go on.

And Tuesday, did a 22km hiking from Kyoto to Nara with a group of new faces from Japan and other countries. The walking course is called Yamashirokodo. The weather was just lovely. And I like these people very much. Thanks Sylvia so much for telling me bout this hiking. We walked until our legs got blisters.  It was an activity by KPIC, and yes, I would love to join their activities again. Such lovely people.

Today, woke up with a full recovered leg. No more blister. Came early for lab seminar. Usually, I need to pass thru 4 red lights from my apartment to lab. And frequently I have to wait for at least one red light to turn green. Sometimes, when I hv to pass thru 4 red lights, and wait... I know my day goin to be kind of bad for that day. It was kind of unbelievable when I hv 4 green lights for today. Phew!!! Yap, fish fish believe her day will be very nice today. I checked my school email after the seminar... Wah! My membership for IFT has been successfully processed. It has been some problem occurred for sending my application thru fax. So glad it was settled. And yes, I can apply for my presentation in 2005 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo in New Orleans then. I know this is only the 1st step... but that was indeed a big move for me. And yes, now I need to work and pray hard for a smooth run.

Oh, btw, I just did a review on other bloggers on Monday. Click here if u want to read bout it. Hopefully u will find something u like. These bloggers hv a lot of link to other bloggers as well. And yes, I will do another blogs review again next month for the next updated blogs link. Stay tune for that.

Tata.
